Passports

Mass Attendance: the heart of the journey

We encourage our sacramental children and their families to join our parish community for Sunday Mass as often as possible.

At the start of the sacramental program, every child receives their “passport,” which contains a number of activities:

  • Saint Stickers: On designated weekends throughout the school year, children will receive a unique Saint Sticker which they place in their passport.
  • Saint’s Challenge: Along with the sticker, children write down their answer to a question about that saint.
  • Visa: As they approach each of the three sacraments, the children present their passport with the completed stickers and questions. They are also asked to memorise some prayers like the Our Father and the Hail Mary. When the priest signs the Visa page, they can proceed to the sacrament.
